Playhouse Square: Loew's State


Today is the 90th anniversary of the opening of Loew's State theatre at Cleveland's Playhouse Square. This ad is from the Sunday News-Leader, August 31, 1924. Loew's Park was at 10209 Euclid, in the Uptown business district, 105th & Euclid. Loew's mall was downtown on lower Euclid Avenue.
